I would like to know how the money is being spent this year? Maintenance of existing green spaces, and saving green spaces, may be a more timely problem needing address.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3191316279215320372.post-86065135761992537072010-08-25T13:23:56.455-04:002010-08-25T13:23:56.455-04:00The problem that I face when I read this is that l...The problem that I face when I read this is that lots of groups received "deals" for lots of things during the past decade. Public workers' union, towns, special interest groups, etc. all have been entice to give up things in exchange for money that we don't have.

Do I like have education aid cut? Pension contributions skipped? Services cut? Of course not, but not only did we spend like drunken sailors on leave, but also we borrowed money in every conceivable fashion to keep the party going.

The people of Robbinsville, Hamilton and East Windsor were misled by the politicians, just like the rest of us. As we deal with our fiscal reality, we need to remember that it's not just about cutting spending to get back to balance. It's about cutting it even more to pay off the improper debt that we raised over the last 10 years.

And it's gonna hurt. Real bad.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
